Kerwin was taking pictures all along from the sides trying to capture every moment. Everything was so overwhelming. I was in a daze. Kyle tried to explain the whole surprise. I was dying to know the intricate planning that went behind it. I learned that he was on the same American Airline flight to Paris, just a day earlier. He had been planning the entire thing for more than a month now. I didn't even have a clue. Well maybe one, when Kerwin was nagging me to expedite my American passport application. But never in my wildest dreams that I would be whisked away to an amazing anniversary- engagement surprise to Paris. Looking back, I guess I have been lied to all this time by the few people who knew. It was incredible.

The next 5 days in Paris was romantic, with not a care in the world. We strolled around the city, drank espressos, ate crepes, went to museums and simply enjoyed each other's company. I kept saying "I can't believe I'm in Paris this weekend" and every time I did, Kyle would proudly smile as if it was his greatest accomplishment to pull something as incredible as this. And it was I thought. It was a once in a lifetime experience - and I'm one lucky girl to have such an amazing romantic story to share.
